Skin Suit - DR4Dressed up like people  We walk around all day  In our clothes and our soft skin  We talk with our loose lips  And strong jaws  Our sleeves are too long  And our hands feel big  And our skin feels loose  When our arms are not bent  Our suits are wrinkled  And a little too large  And we find that

Daily Reflection 3Trial by fire;  The young child  Put up for hire.  Left in the wild,  To live on it's own,  To be self-grown.   
Always tired;  once it ends  A new thing's conspired;  I easily bend  In the breezes slow  I am harshly grown.   
Roots intermingle  underneath me;  Not a tingle  Ever reached me,  my skin is tough,  My life was rough.   
And then I end  A dying tree  With barren ends  And frozen leaves  Ragged bark,  Empty heart.

Daily Reflection 2Cold on the edges  Of my being,  Down the inseams  Frozen water slides.  In the cracks and crevices,  Fill them up and then get  Solid,  Frozen;  Winter  Calling,  Wanting  Nothing  More than  Suffering.  And I'm so cold,  I can't feel my toes,  I can't feel my heart,  I can't feel the wind  On my blistered skin,  (It's a battle I can't win)  The sky is dark up above,  The ground is dull down below;  I'm in the middle,  Freezing from my feet up  In snow.
